NEW SITE!!! http://www.isteam.ca Made in Canada. I am no electrical engineer so designing and building the right generator system is taking me slightly longer...but hey...I am trying, and 2 designs are now almost complete. A 3 phase AC PM generator and a homopolar DC disk. This prototype was designed and built as part of a science club think tank after hours. If you would like to get involved please send me a note. I am just one guy and we can use good help.
www.aero-industries.com - is our shop website. I designed the flash site. As I am a graphic designer and...a few other things.

  • wow you've been busy

  • @pureheart7

HI!!! :) NOT BUSY ENOUGH!!! BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS DEVELOPED AND WILL SELL THIS DESIGN TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO HELP MANUFACTURE THESE AND OTHER PROJECTS!!!

  • there's plenty that you can do to increase the efficiency of this design. If only people where able to put them into a wind tunnel and smoke test them...

But I can see that you need to creat horizontal air dams on top and bottom (scoops), so this design with a solid center disk would be much better. A wind scoop effect is where the real torque comes in and adds no drag on the opposing side.

INTERESTING...THANK YOU...I WOULD LIKE TO BUILD A FEW NEW DESIGNS

  • what'll really kick ass , is if you can find some kind of "plastic" ( for lack of a better term) you can form into that shape which would have the same area yet lighter and almost as strong.

seems it would respond to even lighter breezes.

    just a thought!

    THANKS THATS A GREAT IDEA!

  • Nice design.... I am building a rotocaster capable of mfg up to 80 inch length blades.... It would take about a week to put a mold together for any design...MFG production rate about an hour each...

  • maybe you should try to attach each facing corner with a metal cable.... you have more friction but it will be more secure.... i don t know what sheet of metal you are using but never underestimate power of nature ;o) if your blades open up with speed you could make several damage to your project... anyway very nice job ! well done

  • I HAVE SEVERAL MODIFICATIONS TO FABRICATE AS WELL AS OTHER DESIGNS

AEROBINE 360 - OPEN YOUR EYE!!!

  • EMAIL ME IF YOU WANT TO FUND THIS AND BUILD THEM ON MASS PRODUCTION!!!

COME ON!!! I GOT ACCESS TO ALL THE TOOLS AND CNC MILLS YOU COULD EVER NEED!!!
