The Electric Company - The Sweet Sweet Sway

If you purchase (or rent) a copy of the new issued Willy Wonka on DVD, it contains a brief documentary with all the children now grown up & discussing what they do now - oddly enough, Nickerson omits her Electric Company experience

According to her website Denise said that she was teased by kids (not the rest of the Short Circus) because she was on what some kids thought the Electric Company was a "baby show." But Denise said that enjoyed working with the cast. Denise was replaced by Bayn Johnson who was on from '73 to '75. She along with Irene Cara were the only two members of the Short Circus that did one season.

Angela was the most familiar face on the TEC, the only one to last all six seasons. She was the essence of the Short Circus.

Yes, she was a very attractive young lady. TEC knew they had a major talent on their hands since she was around for only a year and was already singing leads. Catch her in "The Cornerr as well. She and June Angela were far away more talented and energetic than their co-stars. Shame Nickerson only lasted one season.

Like I said before, Denise was my first crush--at the age of four! She made me wished I was older so I could marry her! Nothing better than a hot chick who can sing like this!

Amazing how Nickerson outshown her Short Circus co-stars so easily (except for June Angela). Watch for other songs with Nickerson. She practically stole every song she was in. An amazing, pretty talent.
