We have stayed at that campground near the station, Rusk Texas. Nicely restored and all facilities in order. Never knew it was so popular. 'Rusk' was an officer in the Battle of San Jacinto. He was given charge of General Santa Ana after the defeat. "Remember the Alamo" was the famous battle cry, as the vastly outnumbered Texans won the battle. Good post showing the lights and sounds, Thanks. I record them on cassette for Christmas layout, for grand kids to enjoy. Polar Express, their favorite.
