Just before McCain's ridiculous veep selection, his chief blogger, Michael Goldfarb, made a disparaging remark about people who play Dungeons & Dragons. I got angry. ;-)

I haven't really done much with D&D since, oh, 1992, so I can't really say. I did look at version 3.5, but I haven't looked at 4th edition at all. I mostly use GURPS.

LoL top shelf. Very well said. Maybe someone should point out to the senator and his aides as well that the US Army itself has delved into developing PC games with the goal of recruiting troops out of it. Not exactly the classical RPG but it makes their efforts to attack gaming even more laughable given they're prepared to consdider it when it suits their needs to keep feeding the flesh grinder they created. And that would make one more friendly, hasty line. "Fucking hypocrites".

thats not a big deal. most ppl dont know but the problem is that we have no treaty of peace. germanys millitary surrender but not the autority. everyone could take it over without infringe any un-laws. just like some other countrys like italy ore japan.

Yeah, no kidding. Though I understand that there are still U.S. Army bases in Germany from the post-WWII era. :/
