Jered Weaver of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, younger brother of free agent pitcher Jeff Weaver, certainly made a name for his own in the 2011 season. He pitched absolutely stellar in the first half of the season, starting the all-star game and have a sub-2.00 ERA. He struggled just a tad in the second half with his ERA inflating, although still finished with Cy Young numbers if it weren't for the surefire Cy Young winner in the AL, Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers.
