A slightly romantic fan video for Miss Parker and Jarod from The Pretender. She is the daughter of the family that founded The Centre and he is a prized asset of the Centre as a Pretender. She lost her mother at a very young age and he is told his parents are dead though as he later learns they are far from it though they have to hide despite their compulsion to be reunited with him. He performs simulations or pretends over several decades before deciding to break out. He succeeds and remains on the move using a different last name alias everywhere. He assumes professions and identities to help those who had their lives turned upside down like his. She is brought back to track him down and return him to the Centre.
Along the way however things change, as she learns that he wasn't the only deceived and that he is not really her enemy. He is always there when necessary for her and she eventually learns to let him as his intentions are exceedingly more genuine than her so-called family. In his words to her question of why did you save me, he says I still remember the girl that gave me my first kiss. They have always have little moments like that and to really get the feel of it you would also have to watch the series and its subsequent tele-films.
Credit for the the series and characters goes to the show's creators Misters Mitchell and Van Sickle.
Also to the actors that brought them to life and pull us into their world always.

I think it's Prison Story from first season (ep 12 if i remember correctly) but i'm not sure. i haven't seen an episode in a very long time.
