  • Engelbert's version of this song is vastly superior to the James Blunt version.

  • Class all the way, What a performer. Magnificent in every sense of the word. Engelbert no one and I mean no one comes close to you. Just when I think you have sung one of the best songs ever you come back with another and another....Charming Man.

  • AHHHH this makes me cry every time I listen! Captures all I feel about my husband of 38 years.

  • Utterly fabulous

  • After one of his shows, I was honored to meet Englebert. He took a picture with me and signed his autobiography that I brought. It is a moment I will cherish forever and will never forget. I was thrilled beyond words. Every time I hear him sing my heart melts. His voice is magnificant and this song is one of his best. Thank you again for posting this. Forgot to mention, Englebert said on stage that his son came to him and suggested he sing James' song. He knew it would be great and it is.

  • I have been lucky to see Englebert several times & heard him sing this song live at 3 shows. It's on the Winding Road: The Best of the Brits. E explained that he wanted to do a cd as a tribute to his fellow Englishmen. It's a very good cd. The first time I heard this live I had tears in my eyes. I knew JB's version but this blew me away. So moving, so touching, so sad. Englebert is truely a legend. This video was wonderful. Thank you for putting it together. It's one of my all time favorites.
