Loyal Caprica and BSG fans were saddened when SyFy announced the cancellation of Caprica partway through the second half of its first season. However, SPACE (a network in Canada) stuck to its guns and aired the rest of the reason in its entirety.

This epilogue closes season 1 of Caprica and aired immediately after episode "Apotheosis" (S01E18). As you can see, it's quite epic. It's a pity we won't see the rest of the Caprica story unfold. Just when things were getting good, too!

So say we all.

  • Who would want to watch this shit anyways? I mean, here we have great writing, great story telling, continuity, and spectacular acting. This pales in comparison to shows like The Real Housewives or The Jersey Shore.

  • Best tv show this season and gets cancelled. God bless Americans.

  • Really it was the Sci Fi (however they spell it now) that ruined this show. They completely underadvertised it, then cut the season in half (which also ruined BSG in my opinion) leaving fans to wait months before seeing the rest.

  • The strongest 30 seconds of the entire series starts when Polly Walker (as Sister Clarice) takes to the pulpit and asks "Are you alive?" That one scene nails the focal dilemma of the series.

  • a pitty it ended so quickly

Its not explained because they didn't have the chance. This wasn't intended as a way to sum up the entire story. This was intended as a way of showing what was coming up in season 2. They didn't realize when writing the first season that there would be no season 2. So they never got around to tying up loose ends. I'm sure they would bring in Tamara at some point or at least explain her fate.

  • "All this has happened before, and will continue to happen again"

A brilliant ending, but a bit dissapointing in a way, a few questions that did not get an answer, one of which already comes to mind. What happened to Tamara Adama Avatar in V-World? This is never explained to us.

  • The problem was this show took too long to get this fantastic. More story happened in this four minute and fifty-nine second clip than in the entire midseason. I'm so, so sad to see this show get cancelled, but there's a reason it happened.

  • What? It got cancelled? Probably by the same fking genius who cancelled Dark Angel and Firefly. Seriously, every once in a while amid all the meaningless shite, US companies produce a gem and then usually near the end of the first season they get spooked and fking cancel it. Seriously, they need their brains checking. Next I bet they'll cancel the Walking Dead too.

  • @mnsrv - You know us science - fiction fans = We just want big explosions, space battles with evil machines or bug - eyed monsters, fancy space craft, gadgets, etc. We don't want DEPTH or meaning or significance in our stories, just eye candy. At least that what the corporate suits think. Doesn't matter if the studios are American, Canadian or European.

  • Haha go to the facebook page, "Caprica for season 2!"

together we can make a difference..
