Historical Day for Croke Park - National Rubgy team playing here for the first time with national pride! Atmosphere was excellent - A stadium and a game to remember although a tragic ending

  • there's a french try missing!

  • Grr@decision for three in last seconds. TripleGrr@hopeless antipodean ref.

Well done the French, who played very well.

We're Triple Crown hunt, lads! Can't really see the French losing to England! However, mistakes of the past, were they to lose a game, then our points diff will be crucial, so let's run in a few tries while we wait! Up the boys!

  • argentina winnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

  • looks like you were right....

  • Him im not so confident the French will lose of they play like this at Twickenam, if you look at there offensive (offside if you ask me) defense it will break Wilko, depends if he can put it to the back of his mind and beat it or if he just loses it and makes a bags of it like against Italy

  • Nothing is lose for you boys, you are able to win the six nations, because if France play like this in London, they will lose. And you can DESTROY the english team.

  • all of the above valid points..bad start, bad ref and bad luck..what a historic day for rugby..great to see a rugby match in Croker!!

  • Triple crown another consilation Prize.

The most annoying part is the luck factor and the ref factor i usually Hate people who blame the ref but it was all his fault. If Brian had played we would have won, if eddie could pick a team we would have won, if shane Horgan was not in the center we would have won.

  • :S Wouldn't that be second ever win after 1948's triumph? Ok, I don't quite remember that one myself, but best be accurate!

Plus it was only match 2/5, so just how close we were is yet to be seen.

  • oh heart break soo close to our first ever grand slam. or at least a chance of winning it. its soo hard for small nations to compete with the likes of england and france especially when rugby is only our third possibly forth national sport. but we will avenge in the world cup watch out france.
