take a close look at the left wrist...

From the description "It may not be very historically accurate in the way it handles (rapiers of the 17th century were quite thick bladed and slow" Disagree, rapiers of the 17th century were far faster and lighter then their brethren in the 16th and 15th centuries when they were developed. By the end of the 17th century, they were no longer rapiers at all but short swords

your form is really bad, its a rapier, we all know how sharp it is, and hitting things is not a proper review. a proper review will tell us the pros and cons of the blade
-
@blazeclicker It all just depends on the scenario in question, what weapons are involved and what individuals are engaging each-other.
-
@blazeclicker Dude, you're the one cussing and swearing all over. And you said "chill" which implies that I'm somewhat altered, which I was- and am-not.
Anyway, why don't we just block each other or something? ;)
-
@extragunbon no there is no point is that not obvious? and dont stat the "you revived a __ old comment" shit okay? besides your the one responding but on to the next i never claimed you were angry and yes you are overthinking
-
@blazeclicker Chill? Overthinking? I'm not mad, I'm not angry and I just wanted to know "Is there a point?"... =x
Plus, I'm not the one reviving a 4 months old comment... =s

@extragunbon its just a water bottle ur overthinking the fucking video lol its just to show the stab so chill out and just watch because some blades cant stab through the water bottles
-
@blazeclicker I really thought it was meant as a "power" display of the blade, what is it supposed to show cutting through water bottles, the angle, if it's a clean cut or something else?
About the "dynamics", blades were made with aerodynamic in mind, because people fight out of water, usually, go figure, hence they have an aerodynamic shape, not hydro. =x
-
@extragunbon as hybredmoon said its not supposed to stop the blade where would you even come up with something like that? and also its not aerodynamic if its through water its hydrodynamic
Rapiers were designed as self defense weapons in tight urban envyronments where swung weapons would be impractical.
However, they are technically capable of killing someone faster than any swung weapon, simply due the the fact that thrusting is faster and more precise. But it really just depends on the speed and skill of the swordsman.

WTF? At least Paul is actually doing something constructive by offering UNbiased reviews of the swords.
