DigiTech VL2 Vocalist Live Vocal Processor

DigiTech's Vocalist Live uses breakthrough musIQ™ technology to directly analyze the output of any electric or pre-amplified acoustic guitar (no special MIDI guitars or hex-outputs needed). Then it generates the correct vocal harmony. For example, if youre singing an A over the chords that are generally found in the key of G, Vocalist will harmonize with a C. But, if you then play an A major, Vocalist will shift to the C#...because like any good harmony singer, it listens to the guitar!

  • Works fine with drop tuning as long as you playing cords. The cords must have prima note, third above and fifth above to give you a clear harmony. You will not get third under/above harmonies without playing it in the cord. Fifths and octaves yes but that's not the reason I got it. On the recordings I record acoustic guitar playing cords thru the whole song and I use it to record all of my backing vocal tracks ( usually a lot of them to sound like a choirs ) and then decide should I leave that

  • how do i hook up alternating guitar and keyboard

  • My band plays alot of DROP TUNINGS...Like drop A B and C... Will this work for LOW tunings?

  • Thanks for the info, I'll check it out!
