You make a comment about jumping arounf the 4:40 mark. Well, there's a very good reason for the jump being in.

Whenever you AREN'T flying, you get a stready stream of points (up to 60 per frame, affected by multiplier). if you hover, this flow of points stops until you land again. If you jump, you can get in the air without stopping the flow. Basically it's just a good way of boosting your score.

Oh I see. You don't lose all of your multiplier you lose a small amount of it.
