Part of a series of videos exposing the funny stupidity of creationists and why they deserve to be laughed at. In each case the creationist statements are shown to be outrageously stupid by even the most rudimentary knowledge of science.


In this episode a creationist animation is taken to task, where they claim 'proof' evolution is a flawed theory. It turns out to be comically poorly thought through, even for creationist 'proofs'. They claim the moon is receding 3in per yr, twice as fast as it currently is, they then assume this recession for 4bn yrs and get the moon should have receding 1200 bn inches. Yup they multiply 4x3 and get 1200.
Now these are actually fairly wide error bars, and this is explored in a humorous fashion in what else creationists could 'prove' with their factor of 200 error.

@robokill387 You might be right, I don't know, I havn't googled the definition, but from previous arguments "strawman" has been misinterpreting or saying that your counterpart is using an argument he hasn't used and then proceed to discuss why he is wrong.

@xXsakkelaoXx wrong. a strawman is a misrepresented version of a person's beliefs, not an argument that "real" creationists don't use, and it also doesn't refer to an actual person, it refers to a type of logical fallacy. so, not only don't you understand what a strawman is, you've actually commited it yourself by misrepresenting the strawman argument fallacy. and on top of that, you've commited the "no true scotsman" fallacy too!

@fowlfables you choose to believe that? it isn't my maths, although I lay it forth, it is real creationist maths, with it's ground in reality. This guy is taking so many people away from christ and I feel sorry for him when he meets our creator. His strawman arguments are from ignorance and not from the creationists I know about.

Again I repeat: REAL creationists don't make these kinds of arguments, they are strawman and they are misleading millions

@xXsakkelaoXx The "laugh at creationist" series by Thunderf00t are merely mocking flawed arguments made by creationists. Your reference to "our creator" is somewhat pointless in a comment on this video, unfortunately, as those who watch this have made up their minds. Neither of us in innocent in that.

I have studied creation mythology at a christian college, and was even baptised in a christian church. I am aware of the arguments, but for my intellectual growth, I will look at those sites.
