Nice Video. I've been up there before, but never with a train beneth. I'm also to short to see over the main guardrail. Your first commentor was wrong, its definatly the Pere Marquette because its the only Amtrak in town! I however, never have seen any sort of reason behind the trains consist. While I've only seen Superliners in years past, that was only in winter on the way to school. Somme days its 3 cars, some days 4, sometimes 5. Usually 2 engines, I've seen 1.

The Pere Marquette uses Superliner Coaches. Those were Amfleet and Horizon Coaches with a Cafe.

And your comment means WHAT?
PM uses Superliners in the winter; Horizons freeze easy. Summers, the Supers go back to long-haul, where they're needed more & Horizons return. Done this way for YEARS.
Do you know where this bridge is? From the Grand Rapids station, go SW down Market Street. At the light before the bridge, turn left, cross tracks, and turn right at the next street. Climb embankment at new bridge, walk N 300ft.
BEWARE: Trail not open, heavily patrolled by PD.
