you need more punch. you should exadurate the hits by making them seem faster then they look in life. you animated a creature that needs more life!

Thanks for the tips. I know that most viewers are used to Hollywood like fighting with short cuts and sped up footage. However this was a project for class and the assignment was to record ourselves doing some exercise then animate a character using the reference footage.

I have a question. I made a character through Zbrush. and wen i import that character in 3ds max and try to make an animation. The character does not move its limbs like the biped. like wen i try to rotate or move the arm it gets completey seperated from the body and looks like a rubberband but it connected to the body. so is there a way to make it so it can rotate and move like the biped? without destroying the arm becuase after i rotate it i have to make it so it fits with the body again.

You have to rig the character to a biped or bone system, then you move the bones around to animate the mesh. You can't just animate a mesh by moving its verts around.
