great playing, i've been playing bodhran since i was 5 and whistle since i was 3, so 12 and 14 years, respectively. i'm an american, too, believe it or not! haha.
i did put my whistle down for a while, though, for guitar. but i'm picking it up again. along with fiddle that i havent played for 2 years :(. have fun playing bodhran, man!

Thanks for the comment. I've got my drum from Peter Houlahan from Armagh. I'm not sure if it was made by him or Bill Wright.
