  • Why did i know Ian would be taken out by submission?

  • Dyers is a fake arse actor with a mockney accent

  • think he just didnt know how to get off his back :/

  • Chuffin ugly tattoos....don't see the point.

  • @dalektaliban, And you are a master of observation, obviously :P

  • @lilblitz anyway we do agree the striking level of many MMA fighters could be a lot better. but many of them come from a jiujitsu, wrestling or judo background. so of course it takes time to get good like anything else

just wanted to say that its still 2 different sports and will therefore never look the same. guess we agree on that too

  • @lilblitz yea as i said many people train specific styles with specialists to improve their game. i also used boxing as an example. and yes, freddie roach has improved many fighters striking. andrei arlovski looked a lot more sharp after being coached by freddie

cant see why a kid is being a douche just because he wants to be a pro fighter.

alistair overeem doesnt look like a classic boxer, but his striking is still very good. he won K-1 after all, competing against pure kickboxers

  • @MuayThaiViking whatever said and done for hand strikes boxing should be the staple, did you see after freddie roach worked with Gsp what he did to kosckek? In that seminar he asked at the begining who is trying to fight pro all the mma douches put their hands up, sure they could kick me thats my weakness and I appreciate the effectiveness of the mau thai clinch, I box and wrestle and as far as striking we were much much better by far than the most advanced mma guys there

  • @MuayThaiViking we had a striking seminar at my gym 3 months ago cant remember coaches name he was leaving after to train dan henderson for his fight, he comes in just to work on striking, mostly punching, he started by saying yes mma striking is different but pointed out how weak their striking is there was mau tai, mma and boxers at the seminar he used me 80 percent of the time to demonstrate what he was teaching, pics on our fb but the moron kept snapping the back of my head

  • @lilblitz but yes many of them could learn a lot from traditional boxing. just like many MMA fighters also go to brazil to train BJJ, holland/thailand for kickboxing/muaythai and so on. just remember there is a reason why it doesnt look like traditional boxing
