Everyone gets old brother. I'm not the same person I was when this was a hit either. Look in the mirror.

love this song but its a very hard song to capture live

Still love Martha and this song, and I heard her and her band a few years ago. No dig, but her keyboardist needs to buy/use a synth that can at least come close to emulating the one used in the original recording. Using a Rhodes or Rhodes patch leaves the song sounding thin and less dramatic ... something is definitely lost without that great synth sound.

I heard a really great interview with her about 7 years ago. She said she karaoke'd this song once in a contest, no one in the room knew it was her. She didn't win :(. But she thought it was hilarious. She's a natural entertainer.

i can't believe i'm here! i was over somewhere else when someone mentioned "the ramons", and i suddenly remembered way back about 1976 in a small place that only sat 1,200 people in denver, and i had seen the ramones there. and pat banitar, and i couldn't remember their name (motels) so i thought, and i thought, and finally remembered this song!! and here i am. i gotta tell you i remember her getting down on her knees in front of the sax player and looking very provacative

@JamaicaMeanOmelette Ok i admit my curiosity has gotten the better of me. So i ask - Just what is the deal about Martha Davis and the issue of politics being mentioned among some of these comments here?. Love this song she sings also love "Suddenly Last Summer".

I hate comments like this- because they're true. And yes i know, the mirror- my good friend in the glory days- will become my enemy soon. I can't blame time, i'm still in a good shape considering the circumstances, but what really killed me was the day i realised that my eyes have lost their haughty shine. I guess i'm not the only one who remarked this "small" but so crucial chance. Greetings & salutations from Germany to all the like-minded all over the world.

Such a outstanding voice!!! The lead did a good job covering for the missing sax!

She can still sing. Great band and great song.
Thanks for posting this video of Martha and her band! Isn't it great that she still plays LIVE! I saw her performance on 8/30/08 in NYC. Martha's stage presence and voice are EVERGREEN! She is so gracious after the show to come out and greet everyone. Again, appreciate you taking the time to post it for others to view!
