Once, the Cintiq had the slow hardware as excuse for the lag between pen and screen. Ten years and two whole generations of CPUs later, this both the latest Cintiq and this ModBook Pro still have the same, annoying visible lag. How about focusing on that before trying to reinvent the GUI?
At these prices, with this hardware and the available custom hard- and software of 2010, you'd expect an iPhonesque 1:1 touchscreen speed. The tablet concept is fine, but it's never going to be a hit this way.

I'll be happy if Synergy Touch can give me about five customizable touch - spots under my left thumb; this would mimic the cintiq 12wx capabilities.
Holding space in Photoshop allows you to pan the artwork around, seems easier than making the whole new method he describes here.
Still not sold on writing recognition though!

Sweet, i'd buy one of those if I had the money for it, I love Mac products, even more when they are modded
