  • It is quite sad that we humans regard forests in a materialistic outlook. Many of us think that trees will grow back and nature will come back, so more trees can be cut down. However, forests take centuries to even thousands of years to mature. In mature forests, there is abundance where the old giants tower over the new. There is a unique canopy where the undergrowth nourishes populations of mammals and birds.
