The Get Together pt.1 - That 1 Guy

This is the first of a saga of vids I'll be posting of a trip we took to Charlotte, NC to see That 1 Guy opening for, you guessed it, Buckethead.

This footage shows That 1 Guy in "most" of his glory. We requested that we play Mustache for us, but I guess he wasn't taking requests. I also asked him to sign my KFC bucket for me (decorated in good and evil fashion with horned, forked tongue white man surrounded by $$$ and on the other side, little brown guy surrounded by colorful circles and 3rd eye shning bright. get with the vibe)... but he said "in a minute..." which turned to never. Am I sore about it? I dunno, yes and no. But if he didnt want to sign a bucket, dont open for Buckethead... I'm just sayin'. He seemed like a nice guy regardless, and totally talented, which was the WHOLE POINT of going and NOW sharing this footage.

I had actually made a small handheld guitar-like contraption that I wanted him to sign, but I was told "DONT BRING THAT IN"... I'm kind of a kid like that... nothing compared to the Magic Pipe, thats for sure.

For the music enthusiasts that are watching I tried to get a closer look at what the hell That 1 Guy is playing, but I was a few rows back and you couldnt really see the bottom of the instrument, but I can tell you, it involves mics and kick pedels. So now, HERE is the one man band... That 1 Guy.

Man all I can tell you is look up "That 1 Guy: LIVE in the Land of Oz" the song set list is pretty much the same, but he added more from the newest cd, "The Moon is Disgusting", I'm still getting to know his music, and I could name maybe half of the set we saw, sorry :) "Fan Under Construction"

you know its funny, from what ive heard you guys had PLENTY of time back in the day... but the problem with youth is the lack of mental stamina and the will to do what you fear to show... "fear of failure only comes from originality" :)

yes, but plenty of time didn't count if you were property of division of corrections for four years. most of my time was before 19, and after 23, which was when my son was born. so, since jail i've been daddy(and proud of it). but you will be pleased to know we had an awesome-o jam session last night. and are supposed to do an even better one tonight.
