Sahir is speaking louder than Lata in this particular song.. This is a great example of how in simplest of the wordings one can yield such a rich impact.. reminds of Ghalib's simplicity Dil-e-Nadan tujhe hua kya hay, Ibn-e-Maryam hua karay koi..Sahir repeated this diction in so many songs..Janay kya tu nay kahi, janay kya maine suni, baat kuchh ban hi gai..He was a lyricist who emphasized giving strong arguments in songs. Qateel Shifai was near to him in this regards..baqi sab chal so chal :-)
