Islam came to abolish the typical racist mindset that the Arabs had. It preached equality , tolerance and love amongst the tribes of Arabia, and told them to let go of their arrogance and social hierarchy. Islam came for mankind not the Arabs. It is a universal ideology that appealed to the masses. The majority of Muslims have read the Quran, it is very foolish to think 1.5 billion Muslims are living in ignorance. The Quran was indeed a miracle as it even challenged poets.

Not everyone has a one track mind like you. Zorastrianism was dying because of the priests, magis, and many Persians were converting to Christianity long before Islam came to them. Abu Bakr, and Omar did not try to kill Mohammed (saw) for power, they tried to stop the unjust people sabbotaging Islam after his death. If it was for power they would have killed him, there are numerous stories of them protecting him even in the hardest of times.

Stop making things up, AGAIN. Look into the info part of this video I placed links from NON Muslim sources claiming Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. We have Daleel to back up our claims, unlike you who just make up what ever they want. Keep the discussion intellectual, don't act like a 12 year old and continue making up "facts"

Just about every religion out there claims to be the fastest growing. Ideology of fundementalist Islam is on the verge of collapse as it is not adaptable or the beleivers of the relegion refuse to adapt/change. Unless Islam changes it will be no more. Modern people cannot become beleivers by force like in the olden days. The only reason you have surge in fundemetalist Islam is the Saudi Petrodollar that is being pumped in poor communities i.e. Afghan/Pakistan etc. to promote wahabism.

Atavak has no knowledge of Islam, he just makes up things. Or uses some information without full knowledge of it.
If Salman Farsi was not teaching Muhammad , why should be there a VERSE in Quran about it and rejecting it as follows :"[Nahl 16:103] And indeed We know that they say, "This Qur’an is being taught by some other man"; the one they refer to speaks a foreign language, whereas this is clear Arabic! ".....also,".Aisha reports that Muhammad used to spend countless hours with him-- discussing various religious issues, so much so, that Aisha thought that Salman would spend the night with Muhammad."...

@velvetbc That verse was revealed prior to Salman al Farsi becoming Muslim or even meeting Muhammad PBUH. This is a Makki Ayah and is speaking to Quraish who had accused Prophet Muhammad PBUH of having a teacher.

@YaKhaleeli First I apologize, I am 62 and long time ago I was a zealous fundamentalist muslim and I know how it feels bad, if they talk against your faith. Visit this clip on youtube : "پرویز صیاد از سیاوش اوستا میگوید نماز اسلامی تقلید از "...it shows how Islamic prayer in mosques is a copy of Buddhism prayer in temples (0.57 to3.00 of that video)...btw Buddhism is 1000 years older than Islam...any muslim can tell you almost they are exactly the same if he sees that video...sorry ,that is all

@velvetbc
Actually the only similarity is prostrating. Which the Qur'an mentions is a practice of people prior to Islam. The only difference is that they do not prostate to Allah and to some other deity.
27:24
3:113
20:7
20:161
4:154
The Qur'an even mentioned 15 or 16 times of prostration during the time Adam
was created.

@YaKhaleeli ,,
"According to Zoroastrian belief, at the time of death, the dead are led over Chinvat Bridge. This is a bridge shaped like a sword that bridges this world and heaven"....In Islam :"People will cross the bridge of Sirat in order to enter either Hell or Heaven after mahshar. Sirat is a bridge stretching from one side of Hell to its other side, and which is finer than hair and sharper than sword, as the Prophet put it."..google quoteds...Salman Farsi copied it ,,,is my last comment

@velvetbc
The Chinvat Bridge is a bridge from this world to the hereafter; in Islam it is a bridge to Heaven with Hell under it. Similar, but Salman did not copy it. The Qur'an was not written by a human.
Look at religious books. The Torah, The New Testament, and even the Avesta they are all just words nothing special. The Qur'an is the from the most eloquent language and even from that it is the most eloquent of speech. Salman AlFarsi did not write it nor did Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

If you believe that Islam is unauthentic. Then produce eloquent speech greater than the Qur'an or find speech greater than it. Avesta nor any other man made book has been able to match this with only one verse.
“Say: ‘If all mankind and the jinn would come together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce its like even though they exerted all and their strength in aiding one another.’” (Quran 17:88)
