US Airways E175 Departs from ORF En Route and Landing at CLT

US Airways Flight 3253 departs Norfolk International Airport (ORF) , bound for Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) on an Embraer E175, operated by Republic Airlines. Footage was shot on November 25, 2009.

It was an overcast day in Norfolk, but as the flight progressed into Charlotte, the weather turned for the better and it was beautiful flying weather.

ya that looked real powerful im a senior im going to flight school to train to become an airline pilot i wanna fly airtran boeing 717 i fly them out of rochester newyork and its only like an 8000 ft runway and its gotta be maximum thrust outa there have u ever flown outa rochester or even flown on 717?

@seand121212, I have flown twice on a 717. Nice planes, but I dont think its a challenge to get them out of an 8000 ft runway, as I've seen a B373 cargo plane land and takeoff on a 6000 ft runway with no problems.

@seand121212, Yep. It was a great takeoff. On these particular planes, the engine is mounted just below the wing, so you get to hear that engine spin up!
