I wasn't off time. The video is out of synch at points.

I dont know, except the fast guitar-playing, I dont find as much complexity in Protest the Hero songs than in Tool´s.
Especially the drumming comes not even close. Maybe schism is a "bad" example.
Check out Jambi. The skills required for playing this song may not be obvious but the rythm and timings are insane (in some parts, every instrument plays its own rythm...)
Thats almost like jazz. Hero´s guitar playing may require fast finger, but this one requires intelligence, no offense.

And i wanna throw ruby 12ax7's in my amp to get a marshall cruch and greenback speakers

@opiateofthemasses ^ realtalk, I am a huge Tool fan but strive for individuality. I found an amp that I like more than a Marshall or a Diezel, and that is the Fryette/VHT Deliverance (it's sooo tasty!), I get my own sound. But at the same time, I have played a lot of guitars and nothing compares to a Silverburst, I mean Trivium, Mastadon, 10 Years, Shinedown, and others use them so it's not that unoriginal. And I'm gassing for Q-Tuner pickups :)

@opiateofthemasses Blackstar Series One 200? don't worry, if you think it's better than the Diezel i wont request a video of you eating it haha
I loved this cover...but why do u use equipment that looks like tool instruments? if not almost equal
My choice is usually to get a guitar i like and differs from my favourite bands...So that way you get your original tone ...Just saying xD

@Luvinhas
I got the guitar cause it looked cool and played great. I've also owned a strat, telecaster, gretch, a few acoustics, and 2 or 3 other les pauls. As far as the amp goes, if you can find me a high gain amp that sounds better than a diezel with a wider array of tone possibilities I'll eat my Herbert. Originality is great, but I never saw the point in sacrificing sound, quality, or preference just for originality's sake.
