America fought and killed because it had to , The power that created the war deserves no respect . But having said that , I have respect for the individual soldier on either side who fought a noble fight to preserve what they thought was right .

Kamikaze pilots were honorable warriors performing a brave mission. They should not be compared to Japanese soldiers who executed or mistreated Allied POWs.
Sacrificing your life in war is one thing, and mistreating those who have been captured is something quite different.
