@jignaeri Have you ever watched a ball that was shot "straight?" It's often called a floater, because the ball moves side to side and up and down and it's hard to judge where it will go. It can change direction suddenly, whereas with a curved shot you can generally anticipate where it will go. I guarantee more goalies have been fooled by floaters than by regular curved shots.
