  • wow, i saw USA and then wondered what the other big consumer was.....ten I realized it was Alaska....

  • @temich1985 SCAREQUOTE AHHH MAH GAAAHD SCAREQUOTE

  • @circusboy90210 I know America has a large industrial output. I referred to the way your country is laid out compared to other developed nations. It spends a lot hauling resources across country etc. when in the future it may no longer have the wealth to do so.

  • @gilliamjf it's totally sustainable , you overuse that word in situations where you don't even understand.

  • @Standuble no we make 30% of the worlds industrial output, it has nothing to do with being inefficient. we also travel more than anybody else because we have the resources to do so.

  • @swss12 It would still show a heavy stack for North America, you haven't got a very big population compared to other nations. The population of the EU for instance is 600 million (double the USA) and that stack is no where near the height of the USA's, same with China. America is just that much of an inefficient beast.

  • Wow, at least China makes crap, thats where its oil is going, but USA makes almost nothing, everything is imported from China. Freaking fat suburban lovers in your SUVs

  • it should be represented as how much oil consumption/person.. might give a better comparison

  • Suburbanization is really to blame. If white flight hadn't happened and we reinvested instead in our inner cities, American life would be much less energy intensive and sustainable.
