My wife and I visited this elephant orphanage while on holiday in Sri Lanka in 2005, and it was a delightful day, and I also filmed them.

@ShynePoe33 well these are orphans from the wild, these are babies and they are tied up until they are fed. there are about five numbers of them are tied up at a time of feeding they are fed with milk, since they all try to grab a bottle of milk at once and people who feed them can't handle all at once. they are treated and looked after by the ophanage. except feeding time all other time these babies spent time without chains with other elder elephants. they are funded by the ticket money.
