Unlicensed contractor botches plumbing

Sewer gas bubbling into a house after an unlicensed plumbing contractor installed new water and drainage pipes in the home.

Don't be tempted to go the "save some money" or believe that someone is licensed just because they say they are. If they can't show you a license that says "certified plumbing contractor" than they aren't are licensed plumber.

They sewer gas that is leaking into this house can make you sick and in extreme cases KILL YOU.

Would you let your mechanic do surgery on you? Then why would you let someone who is not a licensed plumber work on your biggest investment, your home?

I have seeen many times were need pipes have been added to a system and the new pipes were vented right, but no proper venting was ever done right on the old tolets or sinks witch now show that there is no venting for the units since all the new stuff is vented, but the old sink/s and tolets were never tuched by the contractor, I thinks these vids are done by licensed plumbing and electracal contractors to scare cunsumers into paying the huge pricing, thats what I think

more than likely a vent issue, not "sewer gas". and just because the plumer has a license does not mean he is going to do it correctly.

the bubbles match the look of the toilet. i would expect the stench as well.you know when you have someone over to investigate, could you maybe swirl some tidy bowl!
