High Definition Video Production w/ Sony Camcorder HDR-SR7E

I made this short 37 seconds test DVD movie clip in 9 long hours today. Have been using relatively new Sony High Definition Camcorder HDR-SR7E. The Camera is producing the M2TS movie files and I was unable to find M2TS file converter anywhere on the website. So I decided to try the Picture Motion Browser application provided by Sony. Successfully converted M2TS file into MPEG-2 file. To put the film together I used a Sony Vegas 7.0a movie editor and easily combined MPEG-2 video with MP3 audio files. I rendered my 37 seconds test movie as follows: Format Main Concept MPEG-2 (*.mpg); Template DVD NTSC; Video 29.97 fps, 720X480 pixels. For sure the next movie I will make in less then 45 minutes.
