Parachute Opens In Doorway of Plane, Catches on the Tail

This skydivers main parachute gets deployed accidentally by the wind whilst he is standing in the doorway of the plane. It then gets caught on the tail of the plane leaving the man dangling from the plane. He friends make an emergency exit from the plane and the dangling man cuts away his main parachute and continues his day :)

This is a prime example why we do pin checks. For those that people who don't read other informative comments. This guy did live he deployed his reserve after freefalling to a lower altitude. I am sure that after hanging from the tail he didn't want to hang out at high altitude under canopy for a half hour.

@arsenalprasa Skydivers don't jump from turbine jet engined aircraft - ever - period.. They travel too fast and opening the door (if that was even possible with the pressure difference) would cause havoc in the aircraft..

by the colour maybe, the reserve is usually white!
