Investigators are puzzled over the disappearance of a local doctor and her husband. Thursday afternoon detectives searched Dr. Leslie Cargile's home in Henderson County but say nothing appeared suspicious. The Henderson County Sheriff's Office said Dr. Cargile and her husband William were reported missing on Monday.  Her medical practice in Black Mountain was shut down as a result.  The couple had been on vacation and staff at Family Care Home contacted police when she didn't show for work Monday.  The couple's son released a statement saying, "We're very concerned about them.  Our office is temporarily closed.  Patients are being referred to other primary care physicians."  Investigators say they're actively working to determine if the couple is in harm's way.  They tell News 13 they found the Cargile's cell phones and they are searching their financial statements.Capt. Frank Stout also pointed out the couple was not under criminal investigation at the time of their disappearance. Follow Megan Schiering on Twitter @mschieringWLOS
