I could care less what other people choose to believe or not to believe (religious wise). I also could care less what others think of what I do or do not believe. I appreciate and respect the constitutional right for people to have a freedom to believe or not to believe in any religion. It simply seems like a waste to try and "fight" religion. If anything it contributes to problem. If anything, people need to learn how to coexist despite their differences.

The first christians lived in a community in which every thing was shared. jesus said that we should give to the poor and that it was harder for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven than it was for a camel to enter the eye of a needle. These ideas seem very socialist to me.

christmas, as it is celebrated in America, has very little to do with christ. Is Santa christian?

it's a patchwork of adapted symbology and rituals from various sources.The christmas tree is a pagan symbol which the bible, Jeremiah, forbids you to use.

You don't need to be christian to celebrate it. They're absolutely nuts for it in japan, a buddhist and shintoist nation. if anything it's a celebration of capitalism.

christmas is a time to enjoy being with family and friends.

we can fight everything you spoke to with the exception of god!! but we can fight the idea of god!! however i think it's a bit pointless, at this stage in our evolution if people believe in god with the mountain of evidence against 0-4 it's hopeless!! you can't fight faith with logic!! when god fades out we will still have space people ascending from the heavens to save us, some of them will be good some of them will be evil!! and of course we'll fight wars over what to call them!!

And I don't mean to question anything else than his behavior with that comment. Person's authority or reliability doesn't interest me one bit when talking about this kind of stuff(It matters for example in choosing my doctor because I can't be bothered to study medicine to know about that stuff myself).

I think he's acting quite arrogantly. He begins by addressing himself "Mr." (Do americans usually do that?), he doesn't seem to concentrate on what he's talking about: petting the cats and turning away all the time which I would deem rude even in a youtube video. Also he seems to like to press the point that he saw that this Zorio guy - or whoever - was not so smart(well what he claimed Zorio was is not the point here) _before everyone else started seeing it_.
