@JHK1976 Well, I'll bite. I don't know about other "religions" but I DO know that Christ made it clear that the only way to the Father is through Him. The "book" is needed as the word, inspired by the Holy Spirit, tells us itself what it's Divine purpose *is*. Christ came for everyone, not Christians-but sinners like myself. By denying that we are sinners we deny Christ. answers in bible, look up King James version online for more questions if you have them. I am not a scholar but a believer!

@kristinloveschevys Why is it, that the prevailing tenet of most religions as I see it, one must go through a prophet, or a savior to find "God" ? If "God" exists, no church, or book would be needed. We invent these systems subconsciously within our minds to protect us from the inevitability in death. If a God exists I will be fine with it.My energy if it transforms or gets pulled into another dimension where I somehow maintain consciousness I will also be fine
