@Fanofnothing1 Mistico and Elena are childhood friends. Mistico still has feelings for her, but she's in love with another man Diego. It's basically a love triangle storyline, she kisses Mistico a lot in the series yet she only loves him like a brother.

I don't speak a lick of Spanish but thanks to Silentoranges' translations & my ability to pick up words here and there I'm able to follow the plot. Personally I can't believe she's in love with such a hideous beast but to each their own.
