Louis Armstrong und Gabriele.
"Uncle Satchmo's Lullaby," by Erwin Halletz and Olaf Bradtke,
was recorded May 20, 1959. The number was used in the musical review film La Paloma, which featured a great
many German song and dance acts of the day. The recording reached the No. 9 spot on German record charts in July, 1959.

  • It's short for ( Satchel Mouth ) its a nickname for his wide grin. He was introduced in Europe by someone as Satchmo and the name stuck.
