If you're wondering what happened to Trevor Rabin, his vocals were on the 1st take... though without him singing (except for the chorus) it sounds alot more like classic Yes.

It's the EXACT SAME backing track with the SAME guitar runs (and Trevor's backing vocals); just because Trevor's not singing the lyrics he wrote for the original demo doesn't make it any less of a song in regards to its quality. At least he and Jon came to an understanding about using their lyrical ideas together which indeed gives a greater "artistic" depth to the song with the contrast of themes and that is how he and Jon work best together as collaborators.

@clayopalstar I'm just not feeling this version. This however is not from the classic Yes era, it's a highly artistic piece...co-written & crafted by Trevor..along with Jon. This version without Trevor's vocals, guitar, & literal musical essence lacks the depth & breadth of emotional intensity, purposeful phrasing, dark & light idealism & enigmatic qualities that seemingly imbue & inhabit the 1st take/version, (for me anyway).

I think you are the one who told me that the TALK show is recorded. Could you please let me know how I can get a dvd of this show! BEST Yes show...symphonic!!, 2nd...Masterworks.... 3rd....this show....Saw it 3 times..... please help me with the Talkshow!!

I thought after Talk and the break-up in 95, Yes fans would never hear Jon and Trevor again.....but thanks to steve and chris kicking Jon out of his band, Jon now has the time to work w/Trevor and Rick again. A.W.R....writing and hope to record in 2012....It will be great to hear the duet of Jon and Trevor again.....Songs like this and Endless Dream are timeless, just like CTTE, And U and I, and Awaken....

Love to see this live.
