Oakland Raiders review their Championship winning season of Superbowl XI

The Raiders were tagged as the dirtiest team in the NFL. They had a mentality and motto of 'do whatever is necessary'.... oh, and plenty of Stick 'em

  • @phiction8 Oh, look a little hater. The Raiders are a great franchise and you are just crying because they play hard. If other teams did it to us, all we would do is say "finally a challenge."

  • I've always hated the Raiders, but they weren't any different from any other NFL team at that time. In those days, men played real football, not the soft, Arena League, type stuff we see today.

On a side note, I loved it when Villipiano (at 24:50) almost took off O.J. Simpson's head. Call it poetic justice.

  • 10:42 - 11:02 John Madden explains why he loves Brett Favre so much

  • @phiction8 There thugs but hell they deserved it......and im a patriots fan

  • Todays athletes couldn't carry the oldtime players jockstraps! Their just big overpayed tattoo wearing video game playing cry babies that go on injured reserve if they get a hangnail. Tatum, Vallipiano, Atkinson, Hendricks, real football players!!!!

  • Man what these guys would've done to the patriots and steelers these past ten years,

  • 32:50 LMAO @ Madden talking about the Sugar Bear penalty. Probably like the Patriots talking about the Tuck Rule some 25 years later. ;)

  • I loved Curt Gowdy's comment when The Raiders lifted John Madden. He said "That's as hard as the Raiders have worked today"

  • Curt Gowdy was a LEGENDARY announcer! I wish I could've grown up listening to him do games.

LOL @ Madden screaming at the ref! I could never figure him yelling and swearing HAHA!

Good thing Errol Mann didn't kick that FG against The Steelers, he would've missed it. That guy was terrible. Funny Tatum says "Swann is more interested in being a broadcaster than a football player"

Swann only played 8 years, and became a sideline reporter.

  • @phiction8 I'm not a Raiders fan but all of their antics were part of the legacy. These guys were tough, brutal, players. You may not like them, but you can never overlook what these players, Al Davis, John Madden and The Raiders meant to football

  • at 24:38, I remember that play from the game VCR Quarterback Game, the call went: The balll goes to OJ. He heads up field, he's grabbed, AND HIS HELMET FALLS OFF and he's stopped. OJ wonders, "Where's the Penalty?"
