Ginita Jimenez Producer of The String

String is an exciting new short film by an inspired and up-and-coming group of filmmakers. It's about a man on his way to work who finds a label on the ground attached to a piece of string. The label reads:

FOLLOW STRING FOR HAPPINESS

Intrigued, the man follows the string down the road and round a corner. To his amazement, he sees it leads far away into the distance. He abandons going to work and begins to follow the string, gathering it up into a ball as he goes.
Will he manage to reach the string's end? And what will he find if he gets there?...

This ten minute film is irresistibly charming -- sweet, funny and surreal, with striking visual imagery and a twist.

String is on the festival circuit and so far has screened at PALM SPRINGS SHORT FILM FESTIVAL 2007 and THE FINAL CUT FILM COMPETITION in Brighton, the largest event of its kind in the South-East of the UK.
