@skatebladez ...just out of curiosity...what are these types of punches and kicks that you are talking of? ..im asking because i see some mma fighters fight and they usually train for 2 or 3 yrs ( according to my knowledge)
-
@adam6433 Kajukenbo is the most realistic. iv been in it for 4 years and am currently a brown belt under ray anderson top student of the great gary forbach. Great fighting style for street fight. 80% of it is illegal in ufc
-
@skatebladezi agree 100%. People are dumb. You can becaome a black belt online in 2 weeks for only $1000 LOLOLOLOL fail. belts mean nothing the training is all that matters
-
@masMarko You know all that because you have been comparing styles..
-
fuck the belt system you. i like the beating ass system where the more asses you've kicked decides how great you are
-
@Ninjamateo Neither I also never heard of most of those that you cited as leaders in the MMA.
I should not compare the styles ... each style has its advantages and disadvantages .. for example, karate has the advantage that they are better with their hands, but no master no legs, speed, flexibility as a Taekwondo master!
Anderson Silva uses several styles including Taekwondo.
ps ... I'm sorry for poor english
-
@masMarko Dude idk who the fuck any of those guys are and none of them are at the top. Have you heard of GSP and Bas Rutten both kyokushin, Lyoto Machida is shotokan, Takanori Gomi is Mushinjuku Karate, Chuck Liddel is kenpo, Rory Markham kyokushin, Seth Petruzelli (shito-ryu) the only person to knock out Kimbo Slice, Ryo Chonan kyokushin and one of the few that has defeated Anderson Silva, I'm not saying one style is better then another but some are just more useful
-
@pilcan2k You are the absolute biggest poser in the world so no one even reply after my message. Its practically a law of nature that you can't do that. SO GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE
-
@kipdickens Depends on who it is for sure but boxers are so fast and close in so good it would be hard for most people to take one out
-
@mstymoon That's the only way
There is no fucking way you got a black belt in a week. I've been studying kyokushin for almost 8 years now and I still haven't gotten my black belt. It takes years and years of training to master certain punches and kicks. You probably paid a butt load of money to get it, in which case it doesn't matter cause in real karate it's not the belt that matters it's the skill of the person wearing it. The belt is merely used to hold your pants up.

Karate is not all the strikes from Jiu-jitsu. Its an Okinawan martial arts coming from heavy influence of Chinese Kung Fu. Jiu-jitsu is not the founder of all Martial Arts, its just an open term for many koryu styles. Although it is true all the japanese modern styles took parts from different koryu styles and discarded what they didn't like, but saying karate is from jiu-jitsu is ignorant, it is Okinawan and not Japanese.
