Part 1 in a series of 3 videos showing how you can use interpolate sub-paths in Inkscape to create rhinestone designs. This method is not suitable for all designs and I will post some examples of unsuitable designs at http://inkscapecuttingdesign.com

  • Awesome Video, thanks

@serama13, I think you need to make sure you copied the bezier design to the clipboard.

  • @waxinfluence

Whoops, thank you. I must have cut it out when editing the video and obviously didn't notice I had cut an important step. I will find the original video and re-edit.

  • Thanks Carolyn! What a great tutorial...can't wait to see the other ones :) Have you made anything with rhinestones that you can show us? Also, what material do you cut this stencil out of? Just paper...or something that will stay still when you add the rhinestones?

  • @narutopenguingirl

I have only just started with rhinestones and will be posting pictures on my blog after the other two videos are uploaded.

I have been using cardboard and mylar for my stencils but do hope to get the proper stuff shortly. It has been a little hard to source in Australia.

  • I absolutely love your videos...I have a Cricut machine and I would like to create my own designs for rhinestones and you gave me that knowledge. I had to watch the videos several times, but I am so excited....Thank You very much.

  • Cool! Can't wait to see what you create :)
