  • great shapes, just wanted more oomph and dynamic punch

  • @budlives Those who can't hack it in the world of real tunes hide in this kind of would-be tune massacrating "cacophony".. My true conviction.Cheers and long life.

  • @pianomike1

What you call butchering is the very difficult art of jazz improvisation. You are the one hiding behind literal thinking. This art is not about playing a soundtrack, its called jazz.

With all due respect, if you don't like jazz it's ok, but anyone who can improvize can do what you are suggesting. They might as well just read the score.

You take Liberace, I'll take Bud Powell, Barry Harris and the great Charlie Parker. This guy is

neither hiding or butchering from a jazz standpoint.

  • Good gracious, get a grip guys and quit butchering the original soundtrack with your bebop and left hand comping BS. For not being able to do what e.g. Liberace or Carmen Cavallaro did, you "jazzers" are hiding behind these would-be jazz trio craps instead of at least trying to emulate the original orchestra score on piano.

No hard feelings guys, but some critics simply have to have the courage to speak up. cheers

  • Very nice improvisation! Please check out my version too! I need feedback! Thanks! And keep up the very good work! :)

  • I can hear some Keith Jarrett in your playing.

A compliment in the highest order.

  • Que bonito muy bien....agradable....te felicito...espero yo tocar asi un dia...estoy en este camino..saludos de Santo Domingo

  • hip man! it's not crammed with notes. i'm definately clickin on this song more than once!

    keep on rockin!

  • I liked the parts with less notes. You'd better leave the arpeggios, and you will have a great sound of your own!
