Our first interview with the legendary Wing Chun instructor Leung Ting. This started as a typical interview until Master Ting asked our interviewer, George Strickland to attempt to break his arm!
@DungHo51 thats the thing most martial arts teach to block punshes which never would hit you they far away from your face but block them punshes could not be blocked cause of the fakt that the brain is to slow to react at a distance like this a punch use time 0.02 -0.05 seconds your brain need 0.10 to react and 0.05 to block
I do not doubt you, but this implies that SiGung Emin Boztepe rejected the teachings of GM Keith kernspect. This would seem strange as he was a direct student of GM Keith Kernspect.
When I was in EWTO all of Cham sau-jut sau movements in chi sau, even the biu tze and chum kiu forms were different (Although SiGung Emin Boztepe and GM Keith Kernspecht were GM Leung Ting's students) but I have joined EBMAS and now I see that SiGung Emin Boztepe teaches us exactly same with GM Leung Ting; I mean the right movements...
regardless of this particular timing, trying to catch a punch flying at you and break the arm like that is bs, i think that is the point. the way the joints align in the 2nd demo are neat, that kind of ability does come from wt training.
look again at the demo, he counted 1 2, punch and then said 3, of course the guy can't block it. and the closer his punch is it harder for the guys to block, not EASIER. any wing chun practioner would see this
he punched before he said three
