@form109 I think the 98's were, but the 88's were downsized in '86 if I'm correct. We had an 85 Delta 88 Regency Royale Brougham, which im pretty sure was RWD. I never liked the 98's but there is something about a big ol boat that I love. Ours was that yellow color with red suede interior and wood grain.. the spoked rims with white walls.. classic :P

@ReCLaIM25 1984 is the Last year of the Rear Drive Ninety Eight.....the 1985-1996 Olds ninety eight was on a Front Drive Platform.

I think 85 was the last year of the big olds.. but I could be wrong on that.

Those were such GOOD cars!!! It is a shame that oldsmobile had to mess around and "try something new"-- I hope they learned an important lesson- If it ain't broke, then DON"T try and fix it.

now thats a real car, to me, i don't care how much gas that thing uses, when considering its age and all the luxury inside, i'd rather burn it up in one of these rather than a plastic shit-box called a 'car' today. Absolutley beautiful.
