"Ghost Voting" is still a concern in the Texas legislature and Representative Tom Craddick is not doing enough to stop it.

That's the conclusion after a Travis County grand jury investigation into the long-standing but controversial practice where members vote for their colleagues when they can't make it to session.

A spokesperson for Craddick's office says ghost voting is just a "long-standing courtesy".

The grand jury has no power to issue indictments but that didn't stop it from urging house leaders to stop the practice immediately.

  • Voter fraud from the people who want VoterID to curb potential voter fraud. Does that give people the perception that lawmakers consider themselves to be above the law? You bet your sweet ass it does.

  • I agree with ninja. These people nned to be kicked out of office on their a**. We need a third party member with integrity to run so we can get rid of both of the current parties we have now. It's just a crime sydicate! Nice video, thanks for sharing it.

  • Scamsters. Both parties should be absolutely ashamed--they're making a joke of us voters, and us as Texans. tsk, tsk. We should take their jobs away.
