  • I have to say that book doesn't speak thoroughly enough on lap band erosion, check out lapbandtalk for definitive information, and actually hear from people who have experienced, just saying. Great video. :)

  • I had to do a 3 week liquid diet, but no required weight loss and I am glad but I did lose 28 lbs! Was the truth I went into this in the right mind set! Thanks for such great insight! R Volkey

  • your story is such an amazing one!!! I had to do a 2 week pro-op liquid diet and I am so glad that I had to do because it did mentally prepare me for the following weeks afterwards. It was not the easiest thing to have to do, but I got throught it and I now know I can get through anything that is thrown at me when it comes to my WLS!!!

  • @RachelMarie81 I'm trying hard to get in enough fluids so I don't dehydrate. My schedule is 3 oz full liquid for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. I have to wait 30 mins before and after each meal with nothing. Then every hour in between meals, I have to get down 3 oz of full liquids. So far, I've been doing skim milk, 100% juices, V8, broth, jello, yogurt. But I think I'm lucky if I'm getting in even 300 calories a day - doesn't seem like enough. Any tips?

  • Thanks for this! :) It's good for me to hear not to put a deadline on my weight loss. I just had my surgery this past Tuesday (Dec 13). I had to crash diet before surgery to shrink my liver...& I was getting closer and closer to the deadline and so worried about not making it. I'm glad I finally made it and it's done. No more stress...now I just have to follow the plan. I'm doing very well with pain management and no ill effects on my pouch yet. Any advice of what to eat on the stage 2 liquids?
