  • @sergsfault Why do you worry about things that have not come yet? Live your life how you think you should, love everyone, be who you are, do not worry about enlightenment.. that will come when the time is ready & when your heart is in the right place.

  • @qheocs I thought about doing the same when i was a little younger. Leave all the things and go to a monastery. But I understand now that God has put me in the place where i have the best chance in working out my give and take accounts. Your family are the people that need your unconditional love the most. Truth is in you, but it is kept from you beneath the layers of your ego and misconceptions. There are many roads to one gate and sometimes one must walk alone, so follow your heart my friend.

  • I am 16 years old Korean boy who lives in New Zealand. What would I expect to learn if I go there to meet you as my guru, leaving my family, school, dream, and all things? Could you please convince me that taking spiritual path is the right thing to do? Would I obtain truth?

  • @sergsfault Please do not feel despaired. A monk is on a path and you are on a path. That is it. You have it in you to find enlightenment before a monk. The only difference is the type of path we travel. There are stories of monks who only achieved self awareness and not enlightenment. Sometimes the focus on enlightenment, as a monk, is a distraction. So, the enlightenment, becomes a desire that holds monks back. In the end any of us is just as capable as the next. Peace !

  • 3 or 7 lives is a shortcut..a householder might have to wait many lives..OMG this just made me very very upset since i'm a hosueholder and cant be a monk for various reasons...many many lives..this is very discouraging...since i suffer a lot in this life enlightenment seems like the only way out...so i'm gonna have to suffer many more lives?...and if i dont suffer in my next life what's to give me icentive?..what if i have to pass 8 million lives of animals to get my next human life?

  • i would gladly become a monk but theres no yoga practitioners where i live, the only monks that are here a christian monks and i hate christianity and religion i could never pretend to follow something i dont belive in just to renounce worldy life

  • thank you ! , I will still try riding an elephant and see how it goes :) . thanks for the inspiration

  • First viewer! :D I'm thinking of becoming a monk later in my life, right now I'm too much of the world. Would be impossible for me to live as a monk right now. I'm only 19 years old though so have life with me.
