Easily the most beautiful song John ever recorded. While I love Beautiful Boy and Jealous Guy, I really do think this song sums up his life. Paul McCartney, upon John's death, said that Beautiful Boy summed it all up. But he's wrong - John's version of Nobody Loves You does. It's so organic and beautiful. Nobody knows you when you're on cloud nine.

He did an album of covers called Rock n Roll and some early ones with the Beatles. 90 percent of the songs he recorded solo and with the Beatles were written by him.
