Love the Rockers style too but love the stripped down Militant (almost Dangerous) style of early 1980's Dancehall more!!
In fact Haven't had any rest since the day I stumbled across Runitselectah and illplayguitar4u Channels!!!

Is it just me hearing extra fat bass and drum lines? It sounds like it hasn't been normalized, it makes my nice earphones to distort.
Anyway, Jah bless all the Mr Bassies outta there, special dedication goes to @illplayguitar4u for compiling and mixing these wicked tunes.

Jackie Mittoo is a true Legend and one of the Founding Fathers of Jamaican Music but i have a 2 CD Best of Compilation and apart from his Original Tunes which became Classics it tends to grate slightly listening to version after version of Classic Rockers updates with that distintive Organ sound.
